Just a reminder to guardians to sign up for parent teacher interviews for the 17th  & 18th of October 2017. Also note that school is out at 1:53pm during this time. Science Literacy at Roosevelt

Students this past week took part in Science literacy week. During this time students from K to 5 participated in a multitude of hands-on activities to overcome various challenges from building bridges to binary coding. Some students even extracted DNA from fruit with scientist in real time via an interactive webinar. Pictures of the event can be found on the wall outside the office, come by and take a look.

Changes at Roosevelt

Hi everyone,

This coming Monday the 25th of September Roosevelt will be opening a new class on the English side to accommodate our growing student population. As a result some students on the English side may be moved to a new class. If you have any questions please check in or call the office.


Welcome back to Roosevelt Elementary!

Welcome back everyone to another year at Roosevelt. I hope everyone had a fun filled and wonderful summer. Just a reminder that school starts on Tuesday September 5th 2017. Students in grade 1 to 5 will arrive at 10:00am and stay till 12:00pm, The normal bell schedule will continue commence the following day. Parents of kindergarten students will have a letter mailed to them outlining how their first week will go, since it’s gradual entry. Kindergarten parents should call the office to book an appointment with their teacher for the first week of school.

School Supplies for the 2017-2018 School Year

Please be advised that parents are not required to purchase general school supplies as in previous years.  For the upcoming 2017-2018 school year, the Ministry of Education has provided extra funding to schools for this purpose.  Parents are still required to purchase indoor shoes (elementary) and gym strip (Middle and Secondary) for their students.  If you have any questions, please contact your school after August 28th.
